Welcome to my online portfolio. As a strategic marketing communications professional I have experience in executing fully integrated campaigns that translate into physical form though various traditional and non-traditional media vehicles. Brands that I have worked on include Dove, Ontario Tourism, Palm, Joe Fresh Style, President’s Choice and Canadian Tire. Whether it is selling a non-tangible brand or working to change a social perspective on beauty, I have immensely enjoyed my career thus far and am looking for the next opportunity that will challenge and further my skills.

Canadian Tire

While at Canadian Tire I have had the opportunity to work on various business categories, products, and campaigns such as: Storage and Organization; Camping; Outdoor Living; Pets; Kitchen; Brand Image and Christmas.

As a key member of the strategic marketing team it is my responsibility to liaise with both external agency partners and internal corporate functions such as: Category Business Managers; Online; PR; Events and Promotions; Flyer; POP; and Research. Working with these teams I harness and maintain strategies that will yield the best results for the brand and category. I also work to ensure that Canadian Tire advertising, and strategic direction and executions are fully integrated and meet brand standards while overseeing the execution of all marketing communications.

Joe Fresh

When working on the Joe Fresh account I had the responsibility of introducing the brand to market. Though the brand was in its infancy we had established strong branding tools and an evolving brand personality that would quickly gain a mass following.
The brand offered fashionable, trendy, yet affordable fashion by famous designer Joe Mimran. Keeping with that mantra we used social media, TV, Print, radio and seasonal “look-books” to maintain dialogue with consumers where relevant. Now you will see that the Joe brand is one that speaks to a broad demographic from a time crunched mother, to a trend conscious teenager with the same single brand personality.

Palm

This campaign for Palm Canada was executed on extremely tight time lines and included many non-traditional forms of media such as: the Mobile café; OOH building projection; Print; Online and train wraps. These innovative executions allowed for maximum impact, ROI and awareness of the Palm brand in Canada. The mobile café was an experiential execution that allowed consumers to test out the Treo 680 and communicate the campaign message of “Freedom from the Office”. The mobile café targeted high traffic areas around Toronto and was at the Toronto auto show. The campaign was extremely well received by both Client and Agency and was voted as Idea of the Year amongst Young & Rubicam employees.

Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership

The Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership aimed to draw tourism to Ontario from both outside of and within the province. The brand focused on local targets and the unique multicultural fabric of the province that delivered unique cultural experiences from all over the world right within Ontario. This account was unique since there were multiple approval processes, and partner approvals involved with all campaigns. The challenge was always to handle all relationships and fulfilling all the different requirements and providing enough support to tourism partners around the province. The ‘THIS IS LIVING’ campaign was aimed at local Ontarians, encouraging them to re-discover Ontario.
